Chairperson / Members, Jersey Police Authority
The Jersey Police Authority (‘JPA’) is an independent body established under Article 4 of the States of Jersey Police Law 2012. Its role is to ensure the States of Jersey Police is an efficient and effective police force, and to deliver the key aims and objectives set by the Minister of Home Affairs, within available resources, and act in accordance with the policies set by the Minister.
Due to some existing Members having reached the end of their term of office, the Jersey Police Authority is seeking to appoint a Chairperson and new Members.
We are seeking islanders of good character and integrity with an interest in the activities and objectives of the States of Jersey Police, and able to discharge duties to the highest standards of conduct and ethics.
Appointed by the Minister for Home Affairs, these are voluntary positions for a term of office of 4 years. The JPA is seeking individuals who reflect the diverse range of backgrounds in the island.
