Overview

The Law Society of Jersey regulates Jersey Advocates and Solicitors and protects the public interest in the administration of justice.

Advocates and Jersey Solicitors have a right to practise Jersey law pursuant to the Advocates and Solicitors (Jersey) Law 1997, as amended (the “1997 Law”).  It is only lawyers qualified under the 1997 Law who are qualified and have a right to practise Jersey law
