Associate - Local Legal Services
Our culture is all about encouraging you to reach your best with support from your immediate manager and the wider Ogier team. We want everyone to develop positively and we are now looking for a talented, motivated lawyer at the start of their career, who could progress within our thriving local legal services department.
The team advises on employment law, together with a range of non-contentious and contentious matters across a broad spectrum of issues relevant to Jersey-based clients, including data protection, regulatory, competition and general commercial work. It's an agile environment, where you'll need to be comfortable reacting to the unexpected and restructuring priorities. Whether it’s a family business, an entrepreneurial start-up, or the Channel Islands arm of an international operation, our team provides the trusted advice needed in an ever-changing economy, enabling our clients to take advantage of opportunity, manage challenges and mitigate risk.
We are seeking a qualified Lawyer - ideally a Jersey Advocate - with a passion for employment work who would primarily focus on this but assume other advisory responsibilities within the team as necessary. Maybe you're in an employment role now, or perhaps you completed a seat in employment during your training contract – either way, you must know that this fast paced, often unpredictable environment suits you. We are interested to speak with someone who builds excellent relationships, who loves working in a team and who thrives in a busy position – if that's you, get in touch to benefit from this rewarding opportunity, where you'll benefit from an incredible learning prospect in a flexible, progressive organisation.
