Associate, Commercial Property/ Banking and Finance

We are seeking a talented lawyer with up to 5 years PQE to provide assistance to the Property Department on commercial property, corporate property related matters and property-related banking and finance. As the oldest law firm in Jersey, we have well-established practices in the property and banking and finance areas of law based on our technical expertise and commercial awareness, which has earned us our first-class reputation in this sector and on which we have built significant relationships with long-standing local and international clients. The successful candidate will receive training and supervision from both the commercial property team and the banking and finance team to ensure that clients obtain first-class service.

The successful candidate will give our clients clear and focused advice and will be expected to both lead the management of files and work with the wider teams on larger-scale transactions. The candidate will also play a material role in our business- development activities.  We are seeking a lawyer with experience in the commercial property department of a reputable law firm or firms. General corporate and Banking and Finance experience would be useful but is not essential. The successful candidate will need to bring excellent technical skills and knowledge, good communication skills and a strong teamwork ethic.
