Is my lawyer qualified to practise Jersey Law?

All lawyers who are qualified to practice Jersey law are called to the Jersey Bar as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Jersey or admitted onto the roll of Solicitors of the Royal Court.

All Jersey qualified Advocates and Solicitors in private practice are required to enroll as a member of the Law Society of Jersey.  In turn, their names are featured n the list of lawyers on this website.  If a lawyer’s name is not listed on this website, they are not qualified to practice in this jurisdiction without the supervision of a Jersey qualified lawyer.
