The Judicial Greffe wishes to recruit to the role of Protection and LPA Officer.
An integral part of a small and hard-working team, the post holder will work with the Registrar and Assistant Registrar in all matters relating to lasting powers of attorney, delegates and tuteurs and fulfil the role of Greffier to the Court.
Applicants should be educated to A Level standard, Baccalaureate or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a senior administration role. A formal qualification, such as the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners is desirable, as is knowledge of the Court system and of the Capacity and Self-Determination (Jersey) Law 2016; its associated Regulations and Orders; and the Children’s Property and Tuteurs Law (Jersey) 2016. The post holder will assist and work with the Registrar and Assistant Registrar in all matters relating to lasting powers of attorney, delegates and tuteurs, and fulfil the role of Greffier to the Court.
In addition, the person we seek will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work on their own initiative, with minimum supervision, in a challenging environment, and be committed to a culture of performance management.
