Protection and LPA Officer
The Judicial Greffe wishes to recruit a Protection and Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) Officer. Applicants must have at least A level standard education or hold a formal professional qualification. Applicants should also have a working knowledge of the law and rules governing probate and protection matters, and practical experience of the Jersey Court system would be desirable. The post holder will assist and work in conjunction with the Registrar and Assistant Registrar of Probate and Protection as part of that Division primarily in all matters relating to the registration of LPAs, the appointment of Delegates and Tuteurs and the ongoing administration of those appointments in accordance with the Capacity and Self-Determination (Jersey) Law 2016 and the Children’s Property and Tuteurs (Jersey) Law 2016.
