We are looking for a paralegal to join our growing team. Benest & Syvret is a successful and respected legal practice which is undergoing a period of growth and business structure change. Core Responsibilities

• Will drafting
• Preparing probate applications
• Estate administration
• Preparing accounts on Excel
• Liaising with beneficiaries, financial institutions, registrars, utilities providers and court services
• Drafting and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Assisting with the administration of delegate matters
• Assisting with Employment related instructions
• Time recording and billing
• Administration tasks including client take on and file closing processes and procedures
• Taking matters from beginning to completion with supervision
• Adhere to Benest & Syvret’s values and professional ethics

Skills and Knowledge

Essential Skills

• Proficiency on Microsoft Word and Excel
• Client service focused
• Ability to work successfully in a collaborative environment (a team player)
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail

Desired but not Essential

• Have at least 2 years’ experience in a legal, trust or financial services environment
• The candidate must have either “entitled” or “entitled to work” in Jersey.
