The HSBC Channel Island & Isle of Man (CIIoM) Legal Department, based in Jersey, is recruiting an additional Legal Counsel for its expanding legal team based in Jersey. The role will primarily support our Retail Banking & Wealth Management (RBWM) business.
HSBC CIIoM employs over 1200 staff and we are growing. Our businesses serve a diverse local and international client base including personal and corporate banking, private banking and trust related business. The HSBC CIIoM Legal Department is responsible for providing first-class, proactive legal support.
The role we recruiting for is for an experienced lawyer who is expected to have 4 or more years PQE. The role will be involved in advising on a wide spectrum of legal issues affecting our Retail Bank and Wealth Management Business.
The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, have excellent academic credentials and first-class legal experience. That experience would ideally include supporting an international bank or other relevant financial services experience. You will bring fun and energy to our lively team.
The CIIoM Legal team is integrated into the HSBC Global Legal Team. International career progression is encouraged.
