Family Proceedings Officer, Family Court

An opportunity has arisen for a Proceedings Officer in the Family Court. The Family Court is part of the Judicial Greffe and provides a comprehensive service to the Royal Court for family proceedings. It has recently launched the Family Foundation, an alternative dispute resolution service.

This is an interesting and varied position assisting the Family Judges on all matters relating to the Family Division of the Court Service. The successful applicant will have first-rate administrative and people skills, legal knowledge and experience, or the ability and desire to quickly acquire this knowledge. Excellent communication skills are essential as is the ability to deal with a wide range of matters with integrity, confidentiality and sensitivity The ideal candidate will be a team player with a professional outlook, who is adaptable and approachable and keen to learn.
