We are looking for a senior litigator with exceptional legal expertise in regulatory matters and a proven track record of being technically brilliant to provide accurate and complex guidance to clients, without the need for comprehensive review by others.

A deep and respected knowledge of their specialised practice area and a broad and general knowledge of the law in the relevant jurisdiction is necessary, as well as the ability to deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders effectively.

We're particularly interested in candidates who can support and deliver excellent client service with a positive approach to change, leading by example within our innovative and collaborative environment.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage a discreet practice area, developing it in line with annual budget expectations
  • Manage all matter financial activities in line with group protocols including time recording, billing, WIP and debt
  • Mentor, coach and develop junior lawyers in order to enhance their technical knowledge and to be considered as the "go to" person
  • Actively generate business for your practice area, your team and the wider group through existing and new client contacts
  • Maintain current knowledge of developments in legislation, providing timely updates and / or technical expertise to help shape the developments internally and externally including appropriate Knowledge Management for your specialised area, in conjunction with the PSL for that area

In order to be successful in this role, regulatory and general commercial litigation experience is essential. We are also looking for outstanding communication, leadership skills and sound judgement along with strong presentation and writing skills with the ability to deliver to a range of different audiences.
