Jersey Advocates and Solicitors must complete a minimum of 15 hours of Continuing Professional Development ("CPD") per year. The CPD year runs from 1st January – 31st December each year.
All Jersey Advocates and Solicitors in legal practice in Jersey must comply with the requirements of the Law Society of Jersey’s CPD scheme.
It is a Member’s personal responsibility to ensure that they undertake and record their CPD after they have undertaken CPD activities. CPD records should be available for inspection by the Law Society at any time.
If Members are in any doubt about whether an activity constitutes accredited CPD, they should contact the CEO for guidance in the first instance.
